The volunteer program is an educational service opportunity dedicated to supporting our vision and mission.
Studio Maui is seeking for Volunteers who display values and principles that are in alignment with our intention and are committed to excellence. Volunteers play a vital role in supporting a positive and transformative guest experience. As a volunteer, you will serve in one of the following areas:
- Facilities - The Facilities Team maintains the building. Volunteers in this area do repair work, paint, move furniture and accessories, and assist with general labor in renovation projects to improve and maintain our facility and the adjacent outdoor area.
- Household - The Household Team maintains cleanliness throughout the facility to support our guest experience. Volunteers in this area clean bathrooms, offices, program rooms and common areas and may be involved in inventory management.
- Production - The Production Team provides support for workshops and events. Volunteers who work in this area set up and break down program rooms, handle guest flow, deliver supplies, and interact with guests and presenters.
- Technical Services – The Tech Team provides tech support for events and workshops, including handling lighting, sound, video projections, recording, and taking photos and videos.
- Office - Volunteers who enjoy working in the office area may serve in roles that support Studio Maui various administrative functions. These positions require strong computer skills in Mac, Word, and Excel
- Other - Depending on the organization’s needs of Studio Maui, we may assign volunteers to other areas, such as running errands or assisting workshop presenters.
In exchange for dedicating your time to volunteer at Studio Maui, we offer:
- The opportunity to be part of one of a living arts center dedicated to serving the local and global community
- 5 Class Pass and 1 month Membership in the Ohana Circle for each 9 hours of volunteer service. If you volunteer for less than 9 hour/month, benefits accrue in increments.
- 25% off one Studio Maui produced workshop or event after 6 consecutive months of service (a total of two workshops at 25% off per year).
- Free attendance to our Volunteer Program gatherings
