Ruby Amarsharan Kaur Wong is a certified Kundalini Yoga Instructor with the International Kundalini Yoga Teacher’s Training Association, (IKYTA), and she is also a certified Yin Yoga instructor. She received her Yin Yoga Teacher’s certificate with instructor Bernie Clark at the Prana Yoga College in Vancouver, Canada. Ruby is Reiki certified and is also a licensed cosmetologist.
She has expressed her creativity and established professional status in both the beauty and yoga professions for more than 25 years. Ruby Amarsharan introduced the Maui community to Kundalini yoga as founder and director of Beyond Heaven Kundalini Yoga Center and Spa in 2001. Amarsharan is currently on the faculty at The Studio Maui Yoga and Movement Studio in Haiku and she provides private yoga classes in several other Maui locations. She is also available for private instruction in residential and corporate settings.
Through her dynamic infusion of offerings Ruby provides diverse and comprehensive services for transforming one’s health and well-being. She has developed programs for numerous clients in the public sector such as the Maui Veteran’s Affairs, Maui Golf and Country Club, and clients with issues related to eating disorders, anger management, and disabled athletes.
