Ms. Feiner is also a certified Reiki Healer; Reiki is the sacred art of natural healing by the “laying on of hands.”  A Reiki practitioner is able to channel this energy through his/her hands and into another person, animal, or any living object.  As a result, blockages in the body are released, causing peace and healing.  Amy has been practicing Reiki since April 2002.  She also has a certification in English as a Second Language/ Cultural and Linguistic Diversity (ESL/CLD) Training.

Amy was the Co-Director/Co-Founder of Live Free2be, a company that provided creative arts and wellness services for children and families that promoted happy and healthy living.  She and her business partner made a professional decision to dissolve the company in the summer of 2005.

Amy presently works one-on-one with children with special needs.  She received her Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Michigan and graduated from New York University with a Masters in Special Education, specializing in Early Childhood Education.

Ms. Feiner has done extensive volunteer work with children, including working at the University of Michigan's Children's Hospital.  Amy is also an artist and photographer and had her artwork displayed and sold at a fundraising art exhibit.
